- Disable flash in Google chrome –
Step 1– If there is a flash crash or error in Google chrome, one of the easiest methods is to stop this error by opening chrome and type “about plugins” into the address bar.
Step 2-The first thing you want to do is select the “details” button in the top right corner of the screen and see all the details of each plugin.
Step 3– Next step is to find the adobe flash player which should be at the top of the list in this there are two separate shock wave flash components listed, the top entry is built in flash player in chrome and the next one is for the flash component built into windows.
Step 4-The next step is to disable built in shock wave flash component in chrome, to do this select the disable button for chrome flash entry and restart your browser to see if it is resolved the issue or not.
Step 5-If any reason the disabling chrome flash player still doesn’t work try to disable the windows flash player, just select on the disable on the second flash entry for fixing the shock wave problem.

If the flash crashing problem exists another solution is to permanently disable the flash player in chrome to do this
Step 1-Go directly to the windows chrome folder where flash component is installed and rename it to the old flash player to permanently disable it from interfering with windows flash player.
Step 2-For doing this observe the location on your computer where chrome flash player is located by going into “about plugin”
Step 3-Next step is to search your computer for the location of flash player, if it is found rename the file from “pepflashplayer.dll” to “oldflashplayer.dll”.
Step 4-After renaming the flash player go into “about plugin”and select disable again next to the chrome flash player entry to permanently disable it.
